RE:RE:RE:Buyout

RE:RE:RE:BuyoutYou're absolutely right elite. I have a feeling deep in my bones that Wee Beastie is preparing a take-private offer. DD stopped buying a coupe of weeks ago and the stock is drifting lower on relatively high volume - mostly through Credit Suisse.

The 20-day VWAP is Cnd$0.33. With a "handsome" 30% premium, the offer would come in at Cnd$0.43 - or Cnd$90 million for 100%. Of course, he and hs buddies probably own about 50%, so it will cost them only Cnd$45 million.

This is probalby less than the value of the diamonds in inventory, so what a steal!

Insurance for us minorities:

1. new dotards will ensure there's an open bidding process.
2. regulators - particularly SEC - will check to ensure pre-offer trading, etc. was all above board.
3. De Bums or Rio Tinto will easily beat a lowball Irish offer.

Bring it on! Exciting times ahead of us!
