also, I believe automotive contracts to supply parts are usually for a certain time ie: 3, 5 or 7 years. It would be both time consuming and costly for OEMs and "the big 3" to market test and quote various jobs and contracts.
I don't imagine the buyers at GM or Ford are watching the SP and thinking of pullling the jobs.
