RE:the results. It is common for a new CEO to talk down his stock when first taking over his position (witness the statement by the brand new BNS CEO which moved the SP sharply downward).  In this way he creates a lower expectation at no cost to his reputation and sets the stage for improvements to come in the following few quarters.
In reading the Q3 results the numbers did not look great but not that bad either.  But the tone of the report was dark and gloomy.  No wonder the reaction was sharp.  
Hopefully the new CEO can get on top of MRE and bring it up to the standards of MG and LNR.  I'm hanging on for a least a couple more quarters and expect at least moderately better results.
