This is just dead money for awhile...

just  saw the Union President interview on BNN talking about what they can do to work with the car manufacturers like Ford to protect jobs and create innovative solutions to keep employees working....the whole sector is in a funk

the whole government focus mandate to get dealerships to sell electric cars by 2030 is hitting a big wall....its just a pipe dream....electrics are too expensive and there is no charging infrastructure to make it comfortable to consumers to take the leap to buy electric....

I've often wondered just how much money these union guys have invested in the manufacturing that they are trying hard to mis-manage?  They continually make rediculous demands. I firmly believe that 40% of their pay should be derived from PROFITS made by the manufacturer. THEN, we might see them actually  WORK!!!

The electric fiasco is just that...a fiasco. The push to electric tho is a long term phenonoma and will proceed with or without government prodding. Technology works seamlessly with electric motors for the creation of true driverless cars...but in the meantime if the sector is in a funk alot of it is self inflicted. I can look down my street and see half a dozen neighbors, myself included who ...more

There is one little fault with your accusation ....... there is NOT vehicles "stashed"  anywhere. If as you wrongly claim, that they are stashed, just THINK for a moment about how much more those already expensive vehicles would cost!  There has been times in the past where vehicles were stored but only because they COULDN'T sell them!!!
