Minco Silver Corporation is a Canada-based silver mining company focused on the acquisition and development of silver properties. The Company’s Fuwan Silver Project is located in Gaoming Country approximately 45 kilometers (km) southwest of Guangzhou City, the capital of Guangdong Province. The property is adjacent to Minco Gold Corporation's Changkeng Gold Property. The Company holds three exploration permits, totaling approximately 125.74 square kilometers (km2). The first, the Luoke-Jilinggang, is approximately 57.16 km2 in size and is held by Foshan Minco, while the other two permits, the Guyegang permit totaling 55.88 km2 and the Hecun permit totaling 12.7 km2, are held by Minco China in trust for Foshan Minco. Ltd. and Mingzhong Mining Co. Ltd.

RE:Lets not assume too much.I guess what makes every one including me uneasy is the answer to the question When will the local government open up for new EIA  permits.

as the mine construction is expected to go upto 2 yrs,  assuming Minco can secure EIA by end of '13, we can see it going to production by start of '16 which might work well with the metal prices as i expect metal prices to be in middle or nearing peak of next bull run.

Any further delay will end up all of us holding the bag with highest opportunity cost as we would have missed the biggest opportunity in this sector.


7 million Oz / yr  at all in cost of 10$ / Oz with mine construction cost of 68-90mm (inflation adjusted) is what keeping me and others in this counter interesting.

Disc: I sold my half of my holding@ 0.8 ( buy price 0.66 ) only to see this at 0.9 .  Not a good feeling but looking to pick up some back below 0.8 levels if i get em
