Methanex Corporation Announces a 16% Dividend Increase

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Methanex Corporation (the “Company” or “Methanex”) (TSX:MX) (NASDAQ:MEOH) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 16% increase in its quarterly dividend to US$0.145 per share from US$0.125 per share. The increased dividend will apply to the dividend payable on June 30, 2022 to holders of common shares of record on June 16, 2022.

With all the good news I'd have expected the stock to do better - unfortunately lots of news in media regarding potential recession and downturn in commodities I'm sure weighing on the stock.
