CALGARY, July 27, 2017 /CNW/ - Newalta Corporation (TSX:NAL) will issue its results for the second quarter of 2017 on Thursday, August 3, 2017, after the market closes. Newalta will hold a conference call to discuss its results on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Mountain Time).

I see this call as pivotal. I pulled my position a while back and have been watching closely on whether there is any point of buying back in. With a sub $50 oil, I want to see what kind of results they achieved and listen for what they say and don't say in the management statements.

They have decent cash flow, if that holds they can last a few more years. But the pressure will be on sales to make sure it's still coming in. But, they will be delisted from the TSX if they can't hold $1 which will only put more downward pressure on share price. Sub $0.50 and they will just get bought up in a takeover.
