lol Occam's razor is intended to imply that the simplest/least complex solution is typically the correct solution.  Your conspiracy theory involving no less than four (4) companies, non of whom have uttered a word of confirmation about a partnership, does not likely satisfy the definition of Occam's razor.    Good luck to all the longs.

If we cut the BS, Nano One has already told us they started collaborating with Tesla in 2020.  "American based major global EV leader” can only mean one company. The simple fact is that GM is not an EV leader. Tesla is.  Nano One knew very well how this wording would be interpreted, both by the public and by Tesla. Nano One knew very well that if they mislead the public on ...more

I don't know if Nano One and Tesla are working together. But from speaking with them it certainly did not sound like they are.    In fact here are some of my notes from my discussion: ~in some ways they want to squash the speculation that Nano and Tesla are working together and in some ways they don't.  ~There isn't anything major.    ~Giga ...more

For the record, I hope you are correct @Fierze and I am incorrect. But if the opposite is true, everyone still wins once an offtake, government grant, and facility details become public information (which we all expect in 2024).  good luck to all the longs.

Hi @Fierze, they also confirmed that the reference to "one pot" by others (including the Tesla PDO patent) should not be taken as a reference to Nano One.  They confirmed that, as contrap127 clarified to us, one-pot is a generic process engineering term that can be used by anyone (including others in battery space).   At least we can eliminate that Tesla PDO patent ...more

@Fierze, remember that this original Nano NR was published in December 2020.  Remember what GM was announcing during that period (hint: circa November 2020)?  The official 2020 Nano NR that references the undisclosed OEM was not titled, "Major Global EV Automotive Company".  It just says, “Major Global Automotive Company” which definitely sounds like GM.  And ...more

LOL, "wanting" to be an EV leader does not mean you are an EV leader, now does it? :D Kinda hypocritical to grasp at straws while accusing others of grasping at straws.

Business 101: When GM self identifies as a leader in the EV space, and GM is the hand that feeds you, then you call them EV leader. Or whatever else they tell you to call them.  I do agree with you that GM likely came up with the language Nano uses to reference them.  GM will want to brand themselves as an American global automotive EV leader. And therefore they can simply insist ...more

Hmmmm...who else knows how to play ball with GM again? Oh what's that guys name again? And what could possibly motivate him to call them EV leader?? “Biden has spent much of his presidency labeling GM as a leader in the EV movement and portraying CEO Mary Barra as the unequivocal leader of the electrification transition, even though the automaker delivered just 26 EVs in Q4 2021."
