If anyone is accumalating a big position they will have to report it on the Bors if it is more than 5%.  Then as they add they have to report addtions.  If they get more than a certain per centage they have to offer to buy everyone out is my understanding.  I might not have just right but the idea of someone secretly buying up the shares and spring it on the shareholders is a bit off.  It would be interesting to know what security the bond holders have in the project.  Is it just the equipment or the project or all of Northland's assets?  The bondholders may have more to say than shareholders.  they may also be able to have a say in a takeover bid.  There is a lot of information regarding the bonds that needs to come out.
