Lapsed Offer

Apparently, they had an offer for more than $4.

Important:  "Additionally, since the date of the Offer, R/C Canada Coperatief U.A. ("R/C Canada"), one of Northern Blizzard's significant shareholders, has indicated that it intends to tender its common shares to the Offer. R/C Canada owns approximately 28.9% of Northern Blizzard's currently issued and outstanding common shares."

this is what i don't understand about the management enough to trust them. why wasn't this announced when the offer was received? so that the company could buy back shares? they are not working in the interest of the shareholders but themselves, will share price rise tomorrow so people would cancel their tendering of shares?

Let's keep in mind that BOTH majority shareholders are selling at $4.00. Any way you look at it, it is certainly not a great vote of confidence in the company, is it?
