Where we are, why we are here, what will move things forwardI think most appreciate that there is resistance to pay more for NCU stock - and I suspect that the reason is that the retail shareholders have been torpedoed (sp) too many times such that TRUST, FAITH, CONFIDENCE is gone. It is in effect NEGATIVE GOODWILL.
#1. GOOD NEWS should help the stock however I suspect that anything related to PALA will trade at a DISCOUNT for the foreseeable future.
Currently NCU is controlled by PALA at the Board level - even though Pala owns less than 50% of the stock. One needs to ask why independent directors wouldnt be trusted to do the right thing for ALL SHAREHOLDERS? this would suggest that VLAD doesnt TRUST people? Not all the surprizing given he grew up in Russia and made his $$ in unknown ways. Just look at how PUTIN is operating!
#2. If NCU had an INDEPENDENT Board of Directors then there might be some TRUST that NCU will treat all shareholders fairly.
#3. If Tom A is made the chair of the Board then there should be an increase in Trust and Confidence that an experienced person is chairing the Board. Further the Independent directors do have power in that if they leave the stock certainly will be impacted negatively!
#4. Have HONEST, and regular correspondence regarding all things happeneing at PH. The current IR man is not an employee and I do wonder if he has had his reputation damaged as a result of his working for PALA/NCU?
#5 Carry out drilling of the large land holding - so that shareholders have some idea of the measured copper &PM's. This is also just basic planning for any mining company - have some idea of what your company is worth. One must ask the question - WHY hasnt there been an organized exploration program, Geophysics, EM, land exploration?? I cant think of a GOOD Reason that such an exploration project wouldnt make sense?
#6 Have an inperson annual meeting where many would attend and ask the Difficult questions = however the mere mention of such a meeting likely keep it virtual.
#7 Show our displeasure when voting for Directors.
#8 Continue to point out the serious shortcomings of PALA etc. This might make some of the employees in Zug question if they should exit since otherwise their futures may be badly impacted!?
# 9 SELL- however for those of us who see value many will be reluctant to take a loss which could be avoided if changes were made by PALA.
#10 COMPLAIN TO THE AUTHORITIES - however just because things are legal doesnt mean they are ethical - however as Patchh has alluded possibly bad things have happened?
