Why shorting a jr. mining stock is such a BAD idea.

Why shorting a jr. mining stock is such a BAD idea. There are only so many seats in a movie theater and during a pandemic it was highly unlikely to see ticket sales increase.  On the other hand, one drill report can cause a mining stock to double or more upon the news.  No need for a huge bonanza or Comstock lode to make a junior miner explore upward.  So, the risk is HUGE while the likelihood for the company going bust is nothing more than pure speculation by the shorters.

Jay, I don’t know if you are capable of understanding this, I don’t care if you short NCU or not, it’s no skin off my back either way.  I just find your M.O. of compounding aversity against struggling companies to be just a bit slimy and best left to scavengers.
