You just don’t know who Fluffy is! He arrived with Notgnu in the clown car when copper speculation was previously rampant, the sky was always blue and they all were going to be as rich as Rockefeller in short order. They pumped the stock far beyond reason, and when it fell, it cascaded downward and printed the ugliest chart I’ve ever seen. You got to hand it to ol’ fluffy however, not everyone can remain wrong for so long. That’s his story and he’s stickin’ to it.
What amazes me is that there could be a bigger, more vocal promoter of Nevada Copper than Fluffy has been over the years. Sure, his expectations were wildly unrealistic, but that was common coin for the day. They would talk about a “free trip to Vegas”, that Notgnu would cover from his profits. It was so much fun. Kind of like a game of monopoly for grown-ups with imaginary funny money too!
I read a lot recently about what might happen and if I hear “change of control” one more time I’ll sell both of my shares and be done with it. And to make it even more ludicrous, constant guessing what shares might be bought for? And if they are, he’ll pay for a “free trip to Vegas” from his profits? Dj vu all over again redux.
