At last a decent promo piece with great illustrations.  Say that Gill guy is right!   " And frankly, the elements of our assets from an ESG point of view, are probably in large part what helps separate us from all the other copper projects that have been unable to get permitted and move forward in the last 10 years. So just to kind of recap some of those, this is a very low water ...more

Picture tells a thousand words...in this case a lot more than one thousand.  The picture is actually right from the Nevada Copper website.  The picture at the start of this article shows atrocious ground conditions.  You can hardly identify the drift profile that they are trying to mine from the overbreak.  They cannot control the ground with bolts and need to use ...more

Good grief............I don't know who this poster is however I can only surmise after reading his post, it sounded like he has first hand knowledge of mining operations based on the points he had noted and I think it is definitely worth digging into a little deeper for further validation...........If anything, the SP warrants that considering every other copper miner has been following the ...more

"it sounded like he has first hand knowledge of mining operations ..." But why if you are impressed, we should be too?  What are your qualifications to make an evaluation of another’s professional opinion?   As far as I know, you don’t know squat.  Are you an expert as well?   I recall a fella who claimed 25 years in the mining industry -- spent driving a truck. ...more

You have to admit rocdocs post was good for a laugh.  Never seen a case of being so comically obvious the poster had no idea what he was talking about.

These mines are Blasting w Amphol on the surface pits..  the liners are aa shure bet that they don't hav to locate somebody',  attempting to dig out a partial slide a mile bak..  as to the rods..  they simply use longer ones that toggle to spek... corrison..  the yards for parts in ELKO are a million square feet - five stories high and repair the gear on-site..

this is hi desert here in the west where these mines are located..  all of the undergrounds hav water and shotcret applications by convreention/saftey...   barrik applies bolts then plasters the mine..  allows for faster transit - vent - ready fast electrical and an egress for the miners w slips and caves from blasting.. barrik will not mine w/o a plaster finish.. the solar ...more

Replying to Alvarez regarding the post by ROCKDOC regarding the photo of the NCU mine and the ground conditions. RocDOC posted on this NCU site that he/she thought the process of opening and building the NCU mine was normal and not indicative of any really big problems with the ground conditions. As another poster here noted, with $4.50 copper you can fix a lot of problems at a mine site. So ...more

My question is.......why would you want to invest in a copper mine that requires $4.50 for it to survive ? Doesn't it make more sense to put your money into a company that can still profit even if the copper market were to tank ?
Comment by westcoast1000 on May 20, 2021 3:43pm
alvarez, I own both NCU and IVN. NCU does not need $4.50 copper to operate profitably. It needs $3.40 copper. I am confident in both NCU and IVN.
