i have a considerable amount of shares here, like to buy warrants but have never done it, i deal with ameritrade do you have to call brokerage directly to buy warrants, or can you buy online like reg stocks

Yes... Just like nuffsaid... buy'm like normal shares but just do the math on the multiplier effects.
