The water dyke

When thry get through the dyke, that news should kick start us. When the fans arrive, that shouod b big.

When we start milling second stope, that should even help.

Bad news NF.  They hit the dyke on two adjacent levels, 90 feet apart vertically.  Likely this means that, for this section of the orebody, they will have to contend with the dyke on every level.  This problem is not going away anytime soon.

u r correct doc. It is the 1rst drive I am talking about. They get through and things speed up big. The deeper lateral will b quicker as they have learned much in the last couple months. The goal is to get to the highgrade long stopes as soon as possible and start milling 5000 tonnes per day.  At that point we should b about 5 bags from here. nf

uuuhhh, no.  They need to get through the dyke on two vertically, adjacent levels.  The first stope they mined was 9500 tons.  I was trying understand why they chose such a small, low grade stope for the first stope.  I think I figured it out.  The reason is, the first stope was an uppers stope, blasted and mucked from the same level.  Uppers stopes are tiny.  ...more

I think u could b wrong there doc. I have never heard of needing to drifts to access stopes on one level. The stope grade was 1.5% which I believe is average grade.  I believe they said drift one was going to south east deposits and drift 2 to north east deposits. That makes sense to me. They are getting ready to mine there next stope.  Anyways, ame is still strengthening on the other ...more
