With a buyout or management change this will be a $2 stock!

I can feel my heart just bursting with love and excitement at the thought of waking up to this ticker opening up to that price @ Dudtycat! With the exclusive agreement in place, there won't be a hold period for other potentially better offers to come in. In that case, retail can confidently sell their shares and perhaps make a / some donations with any gains from their investment.   @ ...more

I use fundamentals and ratios for targeting. I have no idea how you came to $2 however I would bet if I run my analysis again you're low. I will also note that I use extended timelines so maybe you're just thinking shorter term At the end of the day, set your own target and have a plan in place for when you see it GL with it

Just to clarify, we need to see a resolution to the question of funding for the last stage first Don't want to confuse anyone

I don't really know how $2.00 was thought of or calculated unless there is some potential inside info tied to this. However, it seems like a possible short term price that may be settled on depending on the urgency of the change of control transaction. Royalties and other payments going to insiders would be separate though without being included in the SP transaction. But I'm still ...more

Just a reality check for you folks Discounted cashflow models are typically the best method to understand fair value return on investment for a long lead projects like a copper mine.  Last time I calculated here https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=t.ncu&postid=35827880 twas much lower ($0.28/share @ $3.75 cu) Recalculating @ $4.3 cu shows the UG mine will return $1.5795B ...more

Howdy, the underground mine has expansion potential that us retail shareholders will not know. There could be decades of added life that has not been revealed / made public. Also, there is so much around the Nevada Copper land asset that has not been explored either. The company buying could have pockets deep enough to wait a few years in anticipation of copper reaching much higher prices to begin ...more

" you can't print copper or land."   No, but blue sky is free and unlimited!  Now if you look out Sutro's tunnel to the southeast, you will see the Pinenut Range and on the other side of that is the Mason Valley.  Story has it that Sutro learned that the "other half" of the great bonanza had separated from the Virginia City discovery, and was lying ...more

To add to this comment, at the time of this writing copper is hovering around 4.40 USD / lb (I'm not sure the market makers are aware of this because this SP isn't moving. Do you guys realize we haven't heard anything recent about the OP study progress? Very possible this is far bigger, and of course, we may truly never know. The potential buyout price from the third party will be ...more

The deal will have to be disclosed I believe as ncu is a public corp that must disclose material developments.  Nf
Comment by BlakeRyan1978 on Apr 18, 2024 10:21am
It will 100% be disclosed and we will know about it because we (retail investors) will most likely get bought out too. Anyone with pockets deep enough to buy out Pala doesn't need the public markets to raise money. In what world do us retail investors have any significance to this buyer? The stock is not driven by supply and demand by the public. It's driven and controlled largely by ...more

Brotha Tom in da house! Love it - that known OP adds tremendous value to the Pumpkin Hollow package of abundance. There is probably more like this one on the same property due to its massive size but that's for the possible new owner(s) to discover. That's why I've been holding and adding to my position - change of control and these high copper prices are a godsend to retail.    ...more

OP is certainly worth a pretty penny.  In fact its probably the crown jewel ... unfortunately its not in development so its years away from reality

You are funny. why would  you use the Net Present Value method.? The later SP is a multiple of that. Tom
Comment by nofluff on Apr 19, 2024 9:54am
However, they know the grade and volume. The unpermitted gov. ground is now permitted. So the entire deposit is ready for economic evaluation. At these prices, the insitiu value has to b climbing. Need to finish drilling the dimples and copper ridge. Then double the present mill size. Unless we do not need the copper:)) Nf

The mine actually is producing, it has been for awhile now, it's just not at full nameplate levels of production.  The challenge being faced is the final funding necessary to get it past the finish line to bring it fully online / @nameplate levels. The ramp-up of late in copper spot prices will certainly aid in getting additional cash however it is difficult to say with 100 ...more
