RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Coming Police RebellionSorry, I was just trying to correct false statement.  However, you do have to admit that Pebble is taken ostage in a polical war.  It was dissapointing that policital agenda bypassed the scientific method during Obama's term. 

I worked for the Canadian Malartic Gold Mine, and this mine was also really political because they needed to move people out since the mine is built in Malartic town.  We got all the permits we needed for the mine expansion, but the mine was closely watch by opponents.  They used questionnable tactics and misinformation to get the political and media attention on their side.

I do think that Pebble will be mined, but also they will be watched for the entire lifetime of the mine.
