RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Delist ComingI also am done with the mining industry...but my thoughts are the structural constraints the industry faces. It looks to me like the industry as a whole faces many big problems. The first is the fact that mining is a depletive industry, ie as soon as you take the first shovelfull out of the ground, the value of the property starts going down and you need to find another deposit, the second is the high cost of construction, huge numbers of dollars are required to build mines before a single cent of profit is made, then add in environmental permitting, fewer good deposits forcing companies to go to more remote regions where distance makes everything cost more or foreign countries that can nationalize or blackmail away any value the projects might have and lastly, the roller coaster prices of commodities makes for very tricky investing.
