But according to one large institutional investor, who is not permitted to be quoted due to compliance restrictions within her firm, the Disney deal, which used a 10 times multiple to value Major League Baseball’s video streaming arm, establishes a benchmark in any future takeout of NeuLion. Based on an enterprise valuation multiple of 10 times 2016 consensus estimate of revenues of $103 million, she values NeuLion at $1 billion, or $3.33 a share.
