RE:RE:Sportnet nowWell I thought the streaming was flawless from my home wifi network and it worked very well to watch the Oilers game. I haven't tried it over a free wifi network which might cause some issues but not the apps or Neulions fault. Was going through the reviews for the app and some good and lots of written bad ones where people complain about the streams not working or buffering. I I think it might be a case of just the users don't have proper connections or older technologies that can't keep up or don't know what they are doing.
If I would have any complaint with it is that there was zero features or abilities to do anything while streaming. If I paused the game I couldn’t even get back to live without going back and restart the stream. It would also be nice to be able to have two games side by side or ability to have a easier way to switch between games. I wanted to watch the St louis vs Nashville game during the last 4 mins as it was close but then I would have to leave oilers game and constantly switch back and forth. Even a small area of the screen to be able to watch another video to see if anything happens then switch would be nice. Ill try it more and play around but unless I missed something it would be nice to get some features during game.
Still find it hard to see this company going without being bought out by someone big that wants to get in the space more. There isn't any special thing I found that would stop a league from moving to another company who is willing to drop millions of dollars up front on their laps.
The main problem with investing in this company i find is still the lack of communication from management. There is no real vision of where they want to go or more importantly exactly how they are going to get there. Looks like MLS was removed from all the banners on the website finally and yet nothing on it why or what they will do to prevent it.
