Buyout or not

Now that Disney has set the market with their purchase of MLB digital media the suitors for neulion could be long and distinguished. Disney could add neulion to is digital media portfolio but why would Netflix, Amazon, and etc. not make competing bids instead of allowing Disney to corner the market in digital ott sports broadcasting. But even if there were no outright offer it doesn't take a math quant to figure out that this technology from neulion is continuing to expand and add so great names to it's client list. I believe this is trading at 1/20th it's true market value. What the wise do in the beginning, fools do in the end. ~Warren Buffett

Why did Disney buy MLB and not Neulion?  Obviously Neulon is less desirable, even though they have more products (DivX-related). So I don't think buyers will line up for NLN. I bought this loser at C$1.16 and it's done nothing for me. Management did not disclose that MLB might leave,

Maybe they wanted to add MLB to their portfolio right away, who knows but if you don't think they have set the bar in terms of valuation you are unfortunately mistaken. Also not sure why you thought mgmt would tip you off mlb leaving, that is insider trading. If you bought at 1.16 why would you not buy at .50 cents, to me that is flawed logic.

Sorry, that (informing investors of MLB issue) is NOT insider trading, that's part of management's fiduciary responsibility to disclose in its quarterly report. Maybe you don't care about facts?

sir, what you do with your money is of no concern of mine. It's not that I don't care about facts, I just that I don't care about you. Informing investors mlb might leave before it happens is illegal, I don't know if you are asleep at the wheel but that is a risk you take when you invest and spoiler alert any of their contracts may not renew. Geezus, no wonder you lost money on ...more
