RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It may be a mistake to not have your stink bids inOk so didn't Neulion have two of the final 4 teams in the March madness last year and one went to finals? They aren't making bucks off these universities or colleges just yet. How much do they actual collect from their share on these apps and streams? Especially when a lot can be streamed without paying. I know people who still can get free streams on UFC ppv events for the events they dont want to pay for.
As for them having a lock on College sports. Not a chance. Bamtech is making moves in there space constantly and they now have been putting the one billion they got from disney to work rather quickly with 300m deal in Esports, colleges and technology. Ummm 50m in cash for neulion vs a billion vs bamtech. Can't stop them from taking clients unless they can offer attractive prices which crushes margins and hard to grow or make money off that.
I worry that there is a reason why other companies are merging and investing in each other and nothing coming from neulion. Either the management has offers that they think is to low and our over valuing the company, or other companies are not seeing any growth potential from neulion in streaming or they know they can just pick off the clients they want and why bother spending money to buy neulion
This quarter ill be watching for pure streaming revenue and not so much the other stuff with divx and codec licenses revenue. If you look at pure streaming revenue not that impressive.
