RE:RE:What is the purpose of downgrading before earnings?

RE:RE:What is the purpose of downgrading before earnings?I have a slightly good feeling about the earnings report because the price of wheat, corn and soybean has been on an uptrend.  NTR price is usually roughly correlated with the crops. The reduction of buying last quarter might have lead to a catch up on buying on the reporting quarter.  Guidance, however, might not be good because the fertilizer prices have recently tanked.  Good quarter earnings but bad guidance is still bad.

Also, MOS didn't re-open their mine, which suggests that demand is not there.  NTR is somewhat different than MOS though becuase their strong retail outlets lets them push their goods better.

NTR doesn't seem to lose money at any price of fertilizer, so quite a strong company, although not always strong stock price.

Anyway, I'm not going to sit through this earnings report either.  Too risky
