I guess i will spell it out for you.  NVA current market cap  = 191 million Bonds held by investors  = 220 million EDC Loan                        =  40 million All of these investors would have to loose all their equity, before any banks would be at risk. 191 + 220+ 40 = 451 million So that bank line is 440 ...more

You have said exactly what i have pointed out. The only difference is that i don't believe their bank like should of been cut so drasticly leaving them in a do nothing position, and forcing them into huge hedges at low commodity prices.  I think the banks risk in this situation is very small, and if the company had any flexibility in terms of finances, it should of paid 10 million ...more

Agreed old. NVA MGMT is not intetested in selling the co at current share prices or anywhere near it. They will survive and hold off in hopes of better commodity prices in the next few years. The dust is already starting to settle on this 2020 oil price plummet/pandemic and most have survived (NVA included obvi). Their debt levels are a concern but MGMT has laid out a solid plan to get things back ...more

Also if there's no money to redeem the bonds in 2023 they will just "roll them over". But only if there's no cash to redeem them IMO.

lots will change in 2021 ...let alone 2023 . but you keep posting here out of nervousness from your short imo

I don't know if the goof is short or if he thinks he's doing pou a favour by bashing, but it isn't going to work because A) he's an idiot with trump like lies vs actual investable ideas and B) who in gods name would take investment advice from anyone on stockhouse? Pou sure didn't.

This post is bang on. No sellout! Bonds actually don't mature until March 2023.

Robert, your post below from just a little over a month ago seems positive on NVA, albeit more down the road. Bonds actually don't mature until March 2023, but even earlier you dont seem concerned.

Flee, positive but it depends on what ppl are expecting. If anyone thinks NVA will be returning to its 2018 levels ($8 to $10) then sorry to say that's not happening (barring $100 oil again or something). Yes net asset value on NVA is ~$3 or so, so if that's around what you're looking for in the next few years, then its reasonable imo, with the oil prices you stated. The problem is the ...more

This isn't an overnight turn around, it's going to take diligence on behalf of the company. Recent actions and plans illustrate this awareness of management. For myself, I purchased at considerably less and I'm not in it for the short haul. They have terrific assets, An apparent willingness to pay down debt with a modestly conservative growth projection. Coming into this after the debt ...more

What trump like lies you repeat. Yell as loud as you like, you lost. Nva is going higher so it doesn't matter who is first in line. There is NO line, and trump will go to jail. Market cap is not book value, nor is it asset value putz. Banks don't lend based on market cap you idiot. They lend based on asset value. Stick to pumping pou on the pou board because your ignorant buffoonery is a ...more
