Reasons
There are many reasons why posters want to see this go down, two main ones are they've either shorted the stock or are looking to buy more at cheaper prices. Reason tells you to wait until the forthcoming explanation as it may be totally reasonable and end up not having much effect. There is so much noise on this board now that you have to be careful not to get swept up in it - keep your eyes on the prize.
The price of gold is looking like it's breaking out. Watermelon nuggets over a huge span of land and an indication of fine gold in the tailings. Novo news won't be in 6 to 8 weeks, they've said they'll put out news as they encounter it on the company side and during exploration - so expect lots of news. We are heading into the strong season for gold/gold stocks, holidays are over and traders are back at their desks next week. North Korea. China. Too many reasons for Novo to perform - yes lots of stock being freed up but lots of demand out there waiting on lower prices to grab a stake.
Novo has grabbed the imagination of a huge audience and I for one am hoping for lower prices to "stock up" but have no idea if that's going to actually happen.
