Like Coronavirus, Human Rhinovirus (HRV) causes inflammation of the nasal mucosa, upper respiratory tract infections, and gets its rhino- name because it commonly causes a runny nose as well as a sore throat. I believe fever and bouts of insanity are also common.
Coronavirus infection is getting a bad name these days for the weaker folks. If it spreads to the lower respiratory tract (your windpipe and lungs), it can cause pneumonia, especially in older people, people with heart disease, or people with weakened immune systems. It can kill in these cases. And it has. Especially in China, where there are several diseases (i.e. Foot and Mouth, Hepatitis B, etc) that exist at alarmingly high levels in the general population (with 10’s of millions infected). So, weakened immune systems are prevalent in that nation. And since there is no vaccine for these viruses, your best course of action is to do the same things you do to avoid the common cold.
In addition, I strongly suggest that folks make efforts to calm friends and family. Make some lifestyle choices that ease the stress. One example would be switching your choice of beer to one that now has a cure.

Therefore, all those “shocking exponential” curves that show us the infection rate will also have an equally soothing “exponential cure” curve that lags behind by about a week. One wonders why that curve is rarely stated. I figure it’s because it takes away the drama and shows us the true value of our government health organizations – which is next to None.
What’s even more entertaining are the conspiracy, international espionage, and biological weapon theories. If the Chinese were attempting such mischief, we have nothing to fear from this product. Worse kill rate I have ever seen for a weapon drawn on millions. The true killer weapon is public sanitation and food handling.
Now, for all you aging band members that don’t scare so easy - we really know the cause of this outbreak. It’s been kept a secret by top scientists and Intelligence Services because the idiot who unleased it all has no recollection of the early 1980’s. Actually, it’s unlikely he has any recollection of last week. And that means that he is not capable of providing valuable insight on this overblown crisis.

And there we can find the cure to the epidemic. What medications has our fearless idiot taken to ward off harmful infection? Answer: ALL OF THEM ! And continues to keep up a daily regiment well into his senior years. No substitute for actual experience.
