I know Tx's answer, but whats yours; ?
Kl is selling. They started in q2 and continued in q3. They are doing so when they can in the open market, meaning they have been unable to arrange a sale on their own.Nem, owns some nvo from way back, they are not interested, Creasy has nvo shares but he didnt buy them, he flipped ground for them. Eric is not interested, and he flipped his shares over to his charitable foundation for a tax writeoff. The foundation occassonally sells to pay for the night watchman. So tell me why is KL selling?
Kl also sold osk as has John Burzynski, the ceo of osk. Yet KL is not selling their WM shares.
If nvo is going to be wildly economic, why is kl selling?

Since its Friday and Im a band member, perhaps we can have an open forum on the above .
Our manager has openly stated his opinion on the KL selling matter ,but as far as Im aware nobody here or anywhwere else has offered an opinion relating to Newmonts apparent lack of interest and inactivity . I far as I am concerned ,Newmonts recent track record in evaluating potential exploratory projects has been seriously flawed. They missed out on a once in a lifetime partnership project back in 2018 . Probably the Greatest Mistake they will ever make .Ernest Giles knew best . Newmont pulled out to concentrate on other projects . Good luck with that decision . Bad move
In summation . I would seek a higher reference than Nem when it comes to evaluating exploratory projects in Western Australia . And so ,I would take Soumi over Newmont in this instance as far as who to follow . If Nem are not interested, I would take the other side of the bet . Hows that for being a contrarian . I saw enough a couple of years ago . Good old Ernest Giles .
I continue to support Novo management and band management . I believe their confidence is wholly justified .

But there is no fact in what you just stated fw. In your opinion it was a mistake for them to pull out. Nem is the largest gold mining company in the world and say what you will, they didnt get to be that by being stupid. They are also a bigger miner than Soumi, and bigger yet than Soumi Financial which may or may not do any mining. So I will go with Nem until proven otherwise.
JJ
If Nem thought they had made a mistake by selling a chunk of their shares to kl they would buy them back. Or buy nvo or one of the cheaper players in the pillbar. In the alternate they would grab land and start their own mining operation. That I am aware of they are not doing that so to this day they dont think they were wrong.
JJ
Sumitomo market cap $13B usd
Sumitomo Financial $38 B
Nem $ 50 B all mining.
JJ
Sorry, BHP and Rio Tinto are bigger than Nem. Nem is the largest gold miner.
JJ
Not disputing Nem being the largest gold miner JJ. IMO they made a mistake in pulling partially out and not rectifying that .As for not grabbing land and starting there own mining operation , well that was a huge mistake . They had their chance and didn’t take it . Serious flawed judgement .
Not good at all . All in Western Australia right under their nose IMO . Big mistake . Ernest Giles.
I would never ever trust their judgement in anything . ..... Big they are ...... they could have been a hell of a lot bigger . And I believe they have also made a mistake in their assessment of Novos deposits ....... We shall all see in the due process of time on this. The truth is always out in the end .
Bigness is often disputable on various metrics ..... Greatness is not.
BTW... where was ES on the wrap .... fishing or furious ?:-)) RRs performance dragged on IMO
