At about the 9:30 point on the following link, QH tells the story about how HE found the real high grade gold at Fosterville and then advised Sprott to get in. Sprott had asked him to go over there and take a look. Fosterville had been producing very low grades (about 4-5 grams per ton) then all of a sudden started hitting some larger grades - QH went over there, saw the core up close, and told them to go a little deeper (2-3 kilometers down) to hit the big money. Sprott thereafter took his large stake. The rest is history.
