The data shows that slightly more than 12 percent of Americans did not have enough to eat in the week before the survey, up from 9.8 percent in a survey conducted in early May, the Journal reports. And nearly 20 percent of respondents with children at home couldn't afford enough food for them, up from nearly 17 percent in early June.

Folks cannot be expected to put up with these conditions.  Not in agriculturally rich North America.  And to watch the TV talking heads spewing $hit about economic recovery and record high stock markets.  

This is heading for a train wreck.....FAST.

both political parties are to blame...for all summer they bicker while people have lost their jobs desperate to make housing payments and to put food on the table...finally these people come back to Washington DC after Labor Day...they need to get at least one more set of $1200 stimulus checks out asap...its election time and I just cant believe the incumbants are playing games...my vote is going
