We need an interpreter; what I gleaned--because they break into English for short blurbs and a few English footnotes---is that Oceana is planting trees and paying lots of taxes.  There seems to be some serious concers about flooding and landslides.  The question arises:  why is MGB holding these dialogues now, when according to past information MGB has given their approval for the renewal of FTAA and forwarded things to the Office of the President.
     As to criticizing Oceana; if anyone thinks they could have done better in the developing nation of the Philippines with the apparent chaotic governance---please give us your theory.  IMO

Psych I enjoy your posts and respect your opinions. What I am saying is simply with or without didipio, results imo are very disappointing. We have gold, we have an outstanding market but we have a very poorly performing stock. I am in, will likely stay in, waiting like everybody else but hope management are not currently in any event being rewarded for strong performance as they at this point in ...more

Rod: it is too late mate. Mgmt received substantial bonus payments in 2020 despite the terrible share price performance. They were paid, their banks were paid excessive fees on both the equity raise and debt raise, Philipinos were paid, government was paid, just about everyone and their pooch but not a single shareholder was paid even though the gold price was $2K+.  It is clear this board ...more
