Lots of hurdles to clear taking time and with the latest lawsuits against the DEA will drag it out because I cant see the DEA just saying OK we'll settle out of court and reschedule because of pressure, unless you think that the DEA will allow themselves to be bullied into change and admit fault over drugs!

As exciting as the possibility of rescheduling is, the necessary changes in federal and state law will take time. As the requirements under federal, state and municipal rules are clarified, there will likely be glitches.

I would like to see the federal government greenlight it, while giving holdout states the right to still treat it as an illegal substance. That would be the most bipartisan way of handling it on the federal level. Reefer madness has long been disproved, and with the right tools LEOs can assess potentially inhibited drivers. It's time the feds step off.
