Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a biotechnology company. gene edited "cures" are much more of an individual approach and probably also much more expensive. pela is more akin to a shotgun approach (albeit using biomarkers to tailor its approach).

using biomarkers to treat a similar population is much more efficient than editing genes to treat a single patient.
