RE:Anybody selling right now is playing EXACTLY into the game..Allow me to tell you all a little story....it’s a true story..... and I know that the stock I’m talking about has nothing whatsoever to do with Biotec, but in the end, the stock market behaves pretty much the same way in every case..........
.....back in about 02 or so I think it was, there was this burgeoning company that caught my eye, although the paltry $2000 I had was invested for better or worse in ONCY.......this small company called Force Protection, was developing mine resistant vehicles and was trying to get the attention of the US Military to try and get a contract to sell these vehicles...... the stock at that time was around 4.00.....it looked like they were building pretty substantial vehicles and I thought about selling ONCY and investing my whole 2K in FRPT......but I waited, and watched .....even though it looked like they were building awesome vehicles that surely the military could use, the share price started to fade.....several news releases which seemed very positive came and went, but the share price continued to drop.....they even announced that a 4 star General had joined the board of directors.....but the share price continued it’s slide......it had fallen to about 1.50.......I still sat on the sidelines and watched......then a second general was appointed to the board, and the sp continued it’s slide.....by this time I thought, surely there must be a good chance they could get a military contract, but over the next few months, the price continued to slide, all the way down to .33, at which point, I could have jumped in and bought about 6000 shares, but I hesitated because I couldn’t help but think by that point, that if the share price has dropped so low, so must have the interest of the US military.....so I watched and waited.......then, one day, the announcement came that the Military had decided to buy about 400 of these trucks to ship them over to Iraq......well, that day the stock went from .33 to about 12.00, and during the next couple months, more announcements came for more and more contracts, and the stock ended up going to 33.00 a share at one point, and I had the sickest feeling in my gut, knowing that with a simple 2 minute online purchase of 6000 shares at .33 cents , I could have made $200,000 .........and now, to this day, every time I see video on the news, of those Cougar or Buffalo trucks being used extensively overseas by the US Military, I get that same sick feeling of how I missed the chance to completely change my life.....$200k might not seem like a lot of money, I’m sure, to some of you, but back in 02, 03, it was a pretty nice chunk of change, especially for a guy who only had only $2k to work with......
so, like I said earlier, go ahead and sell at your own peril.....ONCY shares are being pressured as we speak, and have been for some time now....IMO we should be at $6 or $7.00 right now....but one day soon, itntdf, the buyout is going to be announced, and some lives will be completely changed for the better, and those that sold out and sat on the sidelines, unfortunately, are going to feel that same sickening feeling I felt while watching FRPT go to 100 times the value that I could have bought it at.....
