Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to phase 3 licensure-enabling studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE:RE:RE:RE:ASCO relevance

RE:RE:RE:RE:ASCO relevanceI see a few names from the distant past. It has been a long and winding road, that's for sure. I know that a few of the original board population are still involved with the stcck. A couple have died and many have moved on to different pastures (not necessarily greener over the last 2y). All of us elderly investors have lived through many iterations of this company and there are no doubt newer investors who have done their due diligence on the current situation. Those who do not understand history are doomed to relive the past. Part of understanding where we are going is an awareness of the company's patterns. There are some very, very smart people who have more than a passing interest in this company. Hoping to draw some of these people out for discussion purposes. We've done it before.
