For some monogeneic diseases if a patient costs $1m per year to the payer, then I think they would happily pay multiples of that for a one and done therapy, and paitents will be asking for cures. There's an ethical angle here also.
So the treatment may at first appear expensive, but in the long run it's more cost effective. Their pipeline is very healthy, and if they hit two home runs, then today's price will be history. With over 2 billion in cash and a revenue stream about to start, then I see no dilution here...
