RE: We don't need a pharma partnet if..If it were only that simple.ONC has much larger plans in the scheme of things. Understand that their goal is to be one of the largest cancer therapy companies in North America to start. So I've been told.
A large SUITABLE pharma brings more than just money and distribution to the table. They bring their long term expertise and they also have the ability to run SEVERAL trials all at the same time and a broader range of trials. If the results are as good as we hope than there is not a rush as I stated earlier. They will continue on their path and the share price and more usage possibilites for Reolysin will continue to increase.
Then when the time is right onc will be in the driver's seat to take advantage in the negotiations. It is always a two way street and a little give and take for all this to happen and onc realizes this.
Now if this is done what does onc do next? Start looking for the other companies that have the best possibilites and synergies that will best make the company that they want in the end. Co-therapy. Small steps but it will happen quickly, especially if efficacy is good from phase 1 and phase 2 prostate.
Just sort of talking out loud, some makes sense from my conversations with onc. Some I sort of read into the conversations.
