Very good points.  I find with gold have to be in when the cycle is good and abandon when bad.  There were excellent years holding gold companies like 2010 to mid 2012, then needed to head for the exits soon afterwards.  The gold lull from latter 2012 to 2018 ish were not very good years, many juniors or exploration companies disappeared and major consolidation with producing companies.  The current phase looks good for a couple of years then would not expect much afterwards.  I expect corrections currently but should keep intact for a bit longer.  However, would not bet the farm on gold.  Aura minerals is my best returning stock in portfoliio over last year.  I like the tightly held float and hope it remains that way, including  minimimal increase in shares later this month with a 15:1 occurring.
