Don’t forget

Gold is on a tear and after years of suppressing information and the share price while consolidating ownership, the controlling shareholders have now manipulated the share price to recent highs. The pump is in full effect. Odds are this can/will go higher, but don't get caught off guard if/when the floor falls out. Spend the time to understand the assets and their economics. The share price is reflective of demand of tightly held float.  They are cashflow positive raised money from instituitions and can finace their projects with not going to market . Aura's produced and recorded 78K/oz in the last 6mos, I expect Aura to be over 122K/oz in the ...more

I too bought Rio in 2012 and afterwards , in fact my current holdings in Aura are all my Rio shares . Britos consolidated all the Rio shares at 14 cents so I knew he would not let it go bankrupt and at the same time he always uses public financing to take the mines to production.  I still think we will see new highs in gold next year and now with 15 stock  split you will have more ...more

valuemine,  Very good points.  I find with gold have to be in when the cycle is good and abandon when bad.  There were excellent years holding gold companies like 2010 to mid 2012, then needed to head for the exits soon afterwards.  The gold lull from latter 2012 to 2018 ish were not very good years, many juniors or exploration companies disappeared and major consolidation ...more
