AER Indefinately Adjorns February 27th Pipeline Hearing

AER Indefinately Adjorns February 27th Pipeline Hearing
In a letter decision issued today, the AER indefinitely adjourned the hearing scheduled to begin on February 27, 2024 as a result of a motion from a directly affected landowner who is opposing Pieridae's construction and operation of a sour gas pipeline near his home in the Waterton Field. In the AER's opinion, the adjournment was necessary so that the Alberta Court of Appeal could rule on an appeal initiated by the landowner. All in, this decision will result in approximately one year delay on getting gas flowing from two Shell wells. Given Pieridae's tenuous financial situation, this only exacerbates their dire situation.
