Freeport setting up to reopen

When Freeport's port opens the Increased sales will bring higher demand as will any drop in the Eastern Seaboard's temp.     $.11 per share each month. GLTA

I am cautiously optimistic that they start up soon. Since the shut in NG helps lower prices and aids the current administration with its short term inflationary goals I don't see the bereaucracy helping a lot. It was surprising the speed at which the KXL pipeline was repaired and brought back into service of course its operation also helps ease inflationary fuel prices. Anyway it can't ...more

Actually I was thinking just the opposite.  That the shut in LNG helped lower US domestic NG prices by building inventories and supply.  Freeport uses about 2-3% of the total NA NG supply to ship about 20% of the USAs LNG.  Having it closed probably helped with winter heating and a good thing too or else the west coast would have experienced far worse price increases then they ...more

Yes now they will and a month from now even less but in September of last year it would of added to an already elevated domestic NG price and excacerbated inflation at a time when the US administration was trying to curb costs at any cost.  Big heating and ...more
