RE:RE:New President's Report and other thoughtsto Yash's point on EV, works for some;

for me, at 2000ft elevation, in mountainous, mostly occlusive climate, solar is about as efficient as a donkey on a race track, unfortunately; never mind keeping the panels clear of one or two feet of snow after every bloody snowstorm for three or four months out of the year; I see your points, but in metropolitan areas solar has issues due to population density and in rural areas it has another entirely different slew of issues;  like you said, "the ideal" ...

with respect Gee's comments on 25% supply reduction, I'm sure he was referring to "the transition period"; I've been ranting about that for a couple of years now - I say turn the gasoline and nat gas taps off and let the greenies all freeze to death in their stalled or parked cars or their hyper-efficient homes, or they can walk down south - there'll be more taxpayer money left for the rest of us, that understand the fossil fuels necessity of supply, for at least the next three decades, and I won't have to listen to all the snare drumming on my evening news ...
