RE:RE:RE:RE:A useful Global Perspective on energy and emissions

RE:RE:RE:RE:A useful Global Perspective on energy and emissions A world that is going to place its entire land transportation system on essentially wind and solar systems transmitting energy to EV s is an absurdity in my view. Directionally EV s are proving themselves for people who can afford to work around their inconveniences. Many people cannot, they live in apartment buildings and park wherever they can find a spot. Will the world be over-run with charging spots everywhere ? India as the worlds second largest emitter of CO2 is very unlikely to abandon Coal in favour of anything, much less wind and solar power .
My main point is who is going to pay the massive costs of converting from a society reliant on hydrocarbons to a non hydro carbon system . The cost of converting to EV's is already significant. The cost of building a reliable electric power grid that is fed by non hydrocarbon fuels will be humungous and essentially implausible.
There is no realistic short term solution to GHG s , but nat gas still remains a step in the right direction and a much less costly one IMO !!
