He ties in enough things that are pain causing to people and then attempts to correlate these back to policy such that blame can be laid. Those who lack in critical thinking ability simply believe him to be right and share in the rage.

I have read a study that indicates the carbon tax has added only 0.015% to overall infaltion and only 1% to food prices in particular. 

There is a right, and there is a wrong in this instance - perhaps even a point somewhere in between. You are free to believe whichever you wish.
