As usual, I doubt that, but we are heading in a permanent positive direction barring any major downturns in NG prices. Once we get the Cascades up, work on the new wells and plants, and in 2025 or so the LNG starts taking up any slack prices should be much much better for Canadian firms. A few caveates, one is the amount of production in Canada can increase quite a bit, there is no hesitation on ...more

Canada LNG will be a game changer for natural gas producers in the west.  No longer will it be local pricing.  the global LNG market is absolutely massive and will grow for years to come, if not decades.  Canadian gas, in 2025 when LNG Canada comes on stream, will no longer be local.

Yes. Eric N was previously showing bullishness for Nat gas in 2025. Today on market call Teal Linde was pretty much saying the same.  If you're on board with that, then now is the time to accumulate Peyto shares. I've held shares in Peyto for awhile now but, I've upted my buying since mid  Spring of 2023. I see this trading above $17 in 2024 so.....

Although the Alberta Premier D. Smith tells Ottawa Natural Gas (resources ) are Provincial jurisdiction you have the B.C. NDP blocking the coast for tankers as the Coast is federal jurisdiction. However, bargaining about more supples to the Powerplant coming on stream soon could help.  Trudeau is causing problems , the WEF with Freeland on their board, are two strikes against Canadians and ...more

I'm really hoping for a change in federal government here in Canada. Heck...even a change down south!! I think the energy companies, under the Conservatives, will do well. They seem to be more energy friendly at this point.

I think you mean  the party of opposition who don't appear to live in never-never land. like the ones that came up with the CARBON TAX, which caused the increase in price of  groceries and rents in Canada.
Comment by NonCredibleSrc on Nov 08, 2023 7:18pm
Carbon tax has minimal effect on food and no effect on the cost of rent. On the cost of housing, yes perhaps, on the cost of rent alone, none.
Comment by bttmfischer on Nov 08, 2023 9:18pm
Can you provide any CREDIBLE DATA to support that statement?
Comment by NonCredibleSrc on Nov 09, 2023 11:22am
I'll provide credible data when you back up your fishy statement. =)
Comment by bttmfischer on Nov 13, 2023 3:53pm
NonCredibleSrc Today on CBC, the leader of the opposition explained how the asinine, useless carbon tax makes 2 million Canadians forced to get their groceries from the FOOD BANKS,  because this added tax inflates the price of ANY FOOD ITEM BEING  GROWN, TRANSPORTED, OR STORED. Anyone who cannot see that is either blind or mentally deficient.(Or running the federal government, which is ...more

The wiener of the opposition says things like that so that certain easily swayed people will vote for him. He ties in enough things that are pain causing to people and then attempts to correlate these back to policy such that blame can be laid. Those who lack in critical thinking ability simply believe him to be right and share in the rage. I have read a study that indicates the carbon tax has ...more

Carbon tax that accomplishes nothing, yet you think it adds next to nothing in costs? Do you live in a hole in the ground eating home grown products with solar and wind power?  CBC, to defund that propogana ministry will save taxes on me, I'm for that.
Comment by NonCredibleSrc on Nov 14, 2023 8:01am
With all due respect, the fact that I am on this board and deeply invested int his company might, just might, be indicators that I am neither living in a hole nor eating home grown products with solar and wind power. Your tone, and lack of posted studies in your hasty and angry response are nothing but a tribute to the points I was making.
