Raise the dividend

Dear BOD,

With a substancial increase in the risk free rate of return your dividend policy needs to change as well as the hurdle rate for starting new projects. This should be clearly communicated to the shareholder base, finally an update on the unrest in Peru would be appreciated. As stated previously this stock is starting to get interesting in terms of value. For the various risks it should at least be north of 6 percent.

It seems th ecompany has been operating with about a 50% payout ratio. With EBITDA looking to increase by 50% for FY 2023 with organic growth in the medium term, I would imagine they will increase their dividend from $0.80CAD to $1.00. Cash isn't a good source fo rdividend increases as it will eventually run out. I would imagine they are going to make a couple more small to medium sized ...more

Thanks for your post, it mirrors my view, things are moving too slow , plenty of time to get off this train and wait for it to exhibit a bit of life before rebuying. To many extraneous risks to be oblivious to the risk/return matrix. the only thing that would mitigate it is if the management became more aggresive with strategy : 1) idea one find assets like VLE and KEI merge use cash flow to ...more
