RE: Bottom chasers keep on chasing..

RE: Bottom chasers keep on chasing..

"Some people just never ever ever learn, unreal how you think you can hit bottoms, why not wait until the SP stabilizes, technicals reverse??"

From my perspective, I like to buy things that are "on special".  Whether it's groceries, stocks or whatever.  And PLT is definitely On Special.  It's dirt cheap compared similar companies... the closest comparison I think of would be Argent (AET.UN).

To me, it's not the end of the world if I don't catch the absolute bottom.  With a 20% yield, I'll just hold it.   I'm not gonna worry if the price drops from 'insanely cheap' to 'more insanely cheap' after I buy.

Though it would only be an issue if I bought the shares on margin.

Does that make me a gambler?  I don't know... I doubt it since I'm prepared to buy and hold it and collect the dividends while waiting since I firmly believe PLT is worth way more than what it's trading at.

If it wasn't for the fat dividend, I would wait.
