RE: safe-haven asset

RE: safe-haven assetIf I am choosing a commodity I'm choosing diamonds... smaller and lighter than gold... and eventually far rarer than a gold coin... I'd also toss my lot in wth Mr. T. Boone Pickens... and buy into water... rights, transportation... bottling...and distribution... watched a TV program a week or two ago... about modern "prophets" from various "chicken little" schools of thought... an economist who suggests economic collapse will send us back to the stone age... a former oil and gas news reporter, an ecologist... a techno type... all espousing that the answer to the end lay within their "special area of interest" IN the end... the consensus was that MAN could live without currency, without fuel, without electricity, BUT would certainly perish should all our water sources become hopelessly contaminated...

a recent Canadian military think tank study also suggested that a major conflict will occur somewhere in the world within the next 20 years over water supplies... and check out where you live... is there some sort of infrastructure project going on.. where it seems like they are also adding storm water retention ponds as part of the project?

anyway... NOT to be all doom and gloom... BUT the chit chat about commodities reminded me... do with that what you will...

It's MY opinion git yer own...
