RE:Nat gas vs Coal !!!Mustn't forget though the methane clouds and ongoing methane leaks to atmosphere (being equivalent to I believe 25x worse impact than CO2), and the slow, slow move to reduce flaring. These make natgas environmentally unfriendly. Former are pretty well unregulated and possibly would not know of their occurrence or volumes if not for satellite analysis. Poor planet, and I don't see how my paying an extra 68% on the top of the price of gas/Gj as a Carbon Tax ....thanks to Trudeau... is ever meant to solve this problem, either nationally or, more so, globally.
What makes this even more diffiult to swallow is my home had natgas from time constructed, like so many others, and I don't want a heat pump, which is 100% hydro dependant, even with a subsidy. Bah! Humbug! Governments are cr-p but the energy companies don't help make things any better either.
