payday for pou stockholders

payday for pou stockholdersBrian Acker's model is based on cash flows and as we know paramount is asset rich with many non-producing holdings. Acker looks for under-valued assets based on cash flow so Paramount does not fit his investment criteria. His models are not structured for this type of investment. TD put out a sum of parts valuation which came to $37 per share. They called Paramount "mining the mountain" referring to the vast stable of non-producing assets that will eventually mature into producing assets or in this case converted into cash. Almost gave up waiting and had sold 2/3 of my holdings for a modest profit but luckily I saw the buying strength coming in and rebought 1/3. Wish I would have stood pat now but with a margin account the interest clock just eats you up and sometimes it's hard to stay the course. I was the caller on BNN MarketCall to Acker only to hear his $5 target and also to Bruce Campbell who has followed this stock closely and knows it intimately. Campbell on his last appearance on the show foretold the sale of oilsands assets and said it would likely happen soon. The man is right on target for this stock. He also called the big move on Paladin which I wasn't able to move on. I like Campbell and have found his analysis to be right on target most of the time unlike others like the bozo in the bow-tie. Anyway those of us who have stayed the course with Paramount were rewarded today. Now does it keep moving or will we see a pullback? Almost bought more today but usually when a stock makes such a large one-day gain it pulls back a little before the next leg up. One of the other analysts on marketcall said "it's better to be out and wish you were in then to be in and wish you were out". Good advice from someone in the know. Clay just bought 80,000 shares recently I guess that was a clue of things to come. Enjoy the moment. Place your bets. Should I be buying or selling. Take the profit and hope for a pullback or buy more to play the upward momentum. Always the same dilemma. Whoever calls it right earns the gold and the bragging rights. P.S. Squeeze Play just had executives from Statoil and NAOS on the show to talk about the deal (ended about 2:20 PST). If anyone wants to see it it's archived on the BNN site. Good luck OceanRanger1
